University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Measurement and Evaluation in the Educational Specialization
The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on Measurement and Evaluation in the Educational Specialization as part of the third unit of the Eighth Teaching Methods Course under the updated curriculum.
The lecture, which forms part of the eighth edition of the Teaching Methods Course and its updated curriculum within the educational specialization track, aimed to familiarize trainee instructors with the concepts of measurement, evaluation, assessment, and feedback.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Naeem Ouda Munkhi, covered several topics related to measurement, assessment, feedback, and testing. It also provided definitions of the concepts of measurement, evaluation, assessment, and feedback, while clarifying the relationships among these concepts.
The lecture concluded with recommendations emphasizing the importance of adopting sound educational approaches in the use of measurement and evaluation tools.
