Lecture on Measurement, Evaluation, and Feedback in the Medical Field
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a scientific lecture on measurement, evaluation, and feedback within the medical field, as part of the third unit of the eighth Teaching Methods course.
The lecture aimed to introduce the concepts of measurement, evaluation, assessment, and feedback, their types, and their importance in improving the teaching and learning processes, as well as to differentiate between various measurement tools.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Khadija Sami Madhi, included an explanation of the purposes of measurement, types of evaluation, and the examination framework, along with practical examples and the difficulty and ease indices.
The lecture recommended the necessity of adopting educational objectives, the examination framework, and feedback to improve the quality of assessment.
