University of Basrah Organizes Interviews for Competing Teams in the Artificial Intelligence Applications Championship
The Department of Science and Technology Parks at the University of Basrah organized interviews for the teams competing in the inaugural National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications.
The Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Dr. Radwan Abdulwahab Abdulrazzaq, stated that the University had prepared a schedule for interviewing the competing teams at the University Presidency’s Al-Sayyab Hall for the purpose of conducting an initial evaluation by the ministerial coordinators representing Iraqi universities.
He added that eleven competing teams from the College of Engineering were interviewed, including the Advanced Solutions Team, the Queens Team, and the Landmine and Toxic Gas Detection Robot Team, during which the students presented their scientific projects.
He further confirmed that the championship will be organized into six tracks, with eighteen projects to be selected for the final competition.
