University of Basrah Organizes Training Course on the Civil Service Law
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a scientific training course entitled “The Civil Service Law.”
The course aimed to develop employees’ skills and enable them to gain a comprehensive understanding of promotion regulations and employment rights.
The course, presented by legal academic Sajjad Sabah Adham Al-Hajjami, provided a detailed explanation of the concepts of public office and public employee, while outlining financial entitlements, allowances, promotions, and the legal frameworks governing the granting of these rights.
The course emphasized the importance of employees’ awareness of the laws regulating their work to ensure the protection and preservation of their employment rights.
The course also recommended strengthening legal awareness among employees across state institutions.
