For the Second Consecutive Day, University of Basrah Continues Evaluation of Competing Teams in Artificial Intelligence Applications Championship
The Department of Science and Technology Parks at the University of Basrah has continued, for the second day, the evaluation sessions for the competing teams participating in the first edition of the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications.
Dr. Ridwan Abdul Wahab Abdul Razzaq, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Parks, stated that the University had prepared a schedule for interviewing the competing teams at the University Presidency in Al-Sayyab Hall, as part of the initial evaluation conducted by ministerial coordinators representing Iraqi universities.
He added that twelve competing teams from the College of Education for Pure Sciences, the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the College of Medicine, and the College of Dentistry were interviewed, including teams such as “Innovation Masters,” “Smart Tech Fortress,” and “Challenge Team,” during which students presented their scientific projects.
He further noted that the championship will be organized across six tracks, with eighteen projects to be selected, while the winning project will be awarded a prize of five million Iraqi dinars.
