University of Basrah and Basrah Court of Appeal Join Efforts to Promote Legal Education and Awareness
The Dean of the College of Law at the University of Basrah, Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan, and his accompanying delegation met with the President of the Federal Court of Appeal of Basrah, Judge Adel Abdulrazzaq, to discuss ways of supporting legal education for students of the College of Law and enhancing their practical training in line with labour market requirements.
Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan stated that both sides agreed to advance the academic and practical competencies of law students, particularly with regard to their practical training in Basrah courts. The discussions also addressed the involvement of judges in teaching the Virtual Court course, thereby strengthening students’ practical legal skills and professional preparedness.
