University of Basrah Holds Training Course on Artificial Intelligence in Institutions
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a training course entitled "Artificial Intelligence in Institutions," targeting university employees and staff from other government institutions.
The course aimed to develop participants' skills in using generative artificial intelligence techniques to enhance administrative performance and support digital transformation.
The course, presented by faculty member Hala Shaker Mahmoud, covered several topics, including the origins of artificial intelligence, the workings of intelligent systems, tools for summarizing digital texts and documents, browser extensions that support productivity, smart chat applications, data governance, command engineering, and information security and privacy.
The course emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in supporting decision-making and automating services, while also stressing the importance of human responsibility in managing institutions.
