Under the Direction of the President of the University of Basrah: A Field Visit to Improve Services at the Central Library

Under the direct direction of the President of the University of Basrah, the Director of his Office, Professor Ali Abdul Razzaq, conducted a field visit to the Central Library, where he was received by its Secretary General, Professor Samir Mohammed Jassim.

The visit aimed to assess the services provided to students and researchers, as well as to monitor the maintenance and renovation work being carried out by the Administrative Affairs Department as part of the university's plan to enhance its cultural and scientific infrastructure.

The field tour included the various sections of the library to observe the workflow and identify actual needs, ensuring an improved environment for scientific research and enhanced services for users.

The visit concluded with an emphasis on following up on the implementation of the recommendations presented, reflecting the University of Basrah's commitment to strengthening the role of its Central Library as a leading institution serving the academic and research community.
