University of Basrah Conducts First Benchmark Assessment for the Eighth Teaching Methods Course
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah conducted the first benchmark assessment for participants enrolled in the Eighth Teaching Methods Course, marking a key stage in evaluating and enhancing trainees’ competencies in modern teaching methodologies.
The assessment aims to strengthen participants’ teaching capabilities by equipping them with the latest instructional approaches and contemporary educational theories.
Participants were evaluated by a panel of specialized trainers from various academic disciplines through the delivery of lectures prepared to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they had acquired throughout the previous four course modules.
The assessment also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange expertise and discuss the practical application of modern teaching strategies, reflecting the University’s ongoing commitment to developing qualified teaching staff and improving the quality of higher education.
