University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Student Discipline Instructions
The College of Law at University of Basrah organized a workshop on the Student Discipline Instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Regulation No. 160 of 2007.
The workshop aimed to introduce the student discipline regulations within institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, enhance compliance with institutional rules and regulations, and highlight the most prominent disciplinary violations that students may commit on campus.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by faculty member Zainab Yaseen Abdulkhader, who outlined the disciplinary violations and the corresponding penalties, emphasizing the need to achieve a balance between maintaining order and safeguarding students’ rights.
