For Developing Staff Efficiency and Strengthening Administrative Awareness: University of Basrah Holds an Awareness Seminar on the State Employees Discipline Law
Pursuant to the directives of the President of University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, and in pursuit of the public interest, the Legal Affairs Department at the University Presidency organized an extensive awareness seminar highlighting the provisions of the State Employees Discipline Law No. (14) of 1991 (amended) and the Code of Conduct for public service.
The seminar featured a lecture delivered by Assistant Lecturer Dheka’ Nihad Sabri, who emphasized the scientific and legal role adopted by the University in promoting sound professional transparency and in protecting employees from administrative violations that may arise due to a lack of legal awareness.
The event forms part of a series of regular activities conducted by University of Basrah to enhance the efficiency of its administrative and legal staff, ensuring an institutional work environment governed by applicable laws and regulations with a high level of professionalism and awareness.
