A Faculty Member at University of Basrah Publishes Research in an International Journal
Dr. Ammar Salman Dawood, a faculty member at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, has published a research paper in the international journal Water, published by MDPI.
The study evaluated the hydro-morphodynamic responses of a meandering and bifurcated reach of the Tigris River, examining how sediment deposition, riverbank erosion, and the formation of sediment islands influence river navigation, water intake structures, and the stability of riverbanks.
