University of Basrah Conducts Teaching Competency Test for Engineering Applicants
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah conducted a teaching competency test for applicants in engineering disciplines, as part of its programs aimed at preparing teaching staff with scientific competence and educational skills.
The Center's Director, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Ridha Kadhim, emphasized that the test reflects the university's commitment to developing academic performance and raising the level of teaching by adopting rigorous scientific standards to evaluate applicants' abilities in cognitive and pedagogical aspects, as well as modern teaching methods.
He added that the Center continues to implement its training and evaluation programs to enhance the quality of higher education and prepare staff capable of meeting the demands of the modern university environment.
