University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Facilitation Strategies for Humanities
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture, as part of the fifth module of the eighth Teaching Methods course for humanities majors, entitled "Facilitation Strategies."
The lecture aimed to introduce participants to the concept of facilitation strategies and their importance in developing the educational process, as well as to familiarize them with instructional design models used in lesson planning.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Rafid Abdul-Jabbar Mohammed, covered several topics, including general and specific objectives, types of teaching strategies, and the brainstorming strategy.
The lecture emphasized the importance of adopting modern instructional designs in preparing university lectures.
