University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on the Ethics of the Teaching Profession for the Sixth Humanities Module
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at University of Basrah organized a lecture on the ethics of the teaching profession for the sixth humanities module as part of the Eighth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to equip university faculty members in the humanities with the knowledge and skills required to make ethical decisions in academic practice.
Delivered by Dr. Mustafa Abdulridha Kazim, the lecture highlighted the importance of ethical decision-making in the academic environment and the role of ethics in promoting integrity and transparency in teaching and scientific research. It also addressed the fundamental principles of academic ethics, including honesty, fairness, and respect, in addition to discussing how academics can effectively respond to ethical challenges that may influence teaching and research.
The lecture further featured practical case studies illustrating the impact of ethical decision-making on academic life.
