University of Basrah Delivers Lecture on Quality in Higher Education for Applied Specializations
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah delivered a lecture on quality in higher education for applied specializations as part of the seventh module of the Eighth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to introduce trainees to the fundamentals of quality, methods for enhancing the quality of higher education, and the tools and strategies used to assess and continuously improve educational quality.
Delivered by Dr. Zainab Ali Khalaf, the lecture provided a detailed explanation of the key components of quality management and discussed the application of the Deming Cycle (PDCA) and SWOT analysis as tools for evaluating and improving institutional performance.
The lecture recommended adopting the methods, tools, and strategies presented during the course and applying them to assess and enhance the quality of higher education in educational institutions.
