University of Basrah Delivers Lecture on Quality in Higher Education for Educational Specializations
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah delivered a lecture on quality in higher education for educational specializations as part of the seventh module of the Eighth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to introduce trainees to the fundamental concepts of quality in higher education.
Delivered by Dr. Amal Mahdi Jabr, the lecture defined Total Quality Management (TQM) in higher education as a set of characteristics and standards that should be reflected in all components of the educational process, including inputs, processes, and outcomes, to meet the needs and expectations of society as well as the aspirations and learning needs of students.
The lecture emphasized that these objectives can be achieved through the effective utilization of all human and material resources within educational institutions.
