The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah is on the Verge of Achieving Full Program Accreditation
In an unprecedented historical achievement, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah is preparing to receive "full program accreditation," confirming its pioneering status as the first Iraqi college to achieve this distinction in record time.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yassin Mustafa, announced the college's complete readiness to receive the ministerial committee, following the completion of quality indicators and the discussion and official approval of the Quality Assurance Division's report.
He pointed out that this distinction solidifies the college's position, having previously earned program accreditation as the first veterinary medicine college in Iraq, paving the way for a new era of academic excellence. He also emphasized that this achievement represents a qualitative leap for the University of Basrah, placing Iraqi higher education at the forefront of international quality standards with purely national competence.
