University of Basrah Participates in the First Meeting of the Ministerial Team on Biodiversity
Dr. Abdul-Amir Rahim Jassim, Director of the Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah, participated in the first meeting of the Ministerial Team on Biodiversity.
The participation aimed to highlight the marine sector and provide the necessary scientific expertise to support the process of collecting national biodiversity indicators, ensuring the accuracy and comprehensiveness of data related to the marine environment.
During the meeting, the role of the Marine Science Center in providing the marine data and information required for the success of the National Biodiversity Strategy project was discussed.
