University of Basrah Begins Re-establishing Boundaries at Al-Faw Station in Preparation for its Rehabilitation
Specialized staff at the Marine Science Center at Basrah University have begun re-establishing the boundaries of the center's station in Al-Faw district, along with erecting a sign identifying the university's ownership of the site. The center's Director General, Dr. Abdul-Amir Rahim Jassim, indicated that re-establishing the boundaries and erecting the sign are preparatory steps for rehabilitating the station and equipping it with the necessary resources to enable researchers and students to make the most of this strategic location. He emphasized that the site's importance is amplified by the developments taking place in the district, which is linked to the Grand Faw Port and associated development projects of significant environmental and economic importance.
