University of Basrah Holds Meeting to Enhance the Performance of the Central Library and Address Its Operational Needs
The Secretary-General of the Central Library at the University of Basrah, Dr. Majid Abdulhameed Al-Kaabi, held a meeting with the heads of the library’s divisions and units following the commencement of his duties.
The meeting aimed to assess the current state of operations within the Central Library and discuss its most pressing needs and challenges in order to enhance performance and improve the quality of services provided.
Participants reviewed the library’s administrative, logistical, and technical operations and discussed the challenges facing its divisions and units. They also identified key requirements, including electrical equipment, computer systems, and internet services, with the aim of providing an appropriate working environment and ensuring the smooth delivery of daily operations.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Kaabi stressed the importance of fostering teamwork, strengthening cooperation among the library’s divisions and units, expediting the resolution of administrative and technical issues, and proposing practical solutions to improve the work environment and further enhance the services provided to the University’s staff, researchers, and students.
