University of Basrah Organizes Seminar on the Reliability of a Bivariate Stress–Strength Model
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled “Reliability of the Stress–Strength Model Based on Copula Functions in the Bivariate Case,” attended by members of the three-member academic committee.
The seminar, presented by researcher Duha Haider Ali, reviewed the bivariate stress–strength reliability model based on the Weibull distribution and the Clayton copula function. It also explained the methods used to estimate the model parameters and compared different parameter estimation techniques.
The seminar highlighted the significance of these statistical models in improving the accuracy of data analysis and reliability assessment, thereby supporting the advancement of scientific research and its applications across various statistical and scientific disciplines.
