University of Basrah Organizes Workshop to Advance the Digitization of Official Documents and Institutional Digital Transformation
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning, organized a workshop entitled “Digitization of Official Documents,” with the participation of the Center’s staff.
The workshop aimed to strengthen institutional knowledge management by converting paper-based documents and official records into searchable and electronically archived digital formats.
The workshop, delivered by the Director of the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, reviewed the mechanisms of document digitization and highlighted its importance in keeping pace with technological advancements, preserving official records, and facilitating easy access to institutional documents.
Dr. Mustafa Abdulridha Kadhim, Director of the Center for Development and Continuing Education, emphasized that the workshop forms part of the Center’s strategic plan to promote digital transformation, enhance administrative efficiency, and further develop institutional services in line with quality standards and sustainability objectives.
