Doctoral Dissertation at the University of Basrah Examines an Artificial Intelligence-Based Training Program for Developing Interactive Lesson Planning Skills
A doctoral dissertation at the University of Basrah examined “A Proposed Training Program Based on Artificial Intelligence Applications and Its Impact on Developing Interactive Lesson Planning Skills and Self-Esteem Among Student Teachers.”
The dissertation, presented by researcher Ahmed Farhan Rais, aimed to develop a proposed training program based on artificial intelligence applications and evaluate its effectiveness in enhancing student teachers’ interactive lesson planning skills and improving their level of self-esteem.
The study employed a 20-item multiple-choice test to assess interactive lesson planning skills, an observation checklist comprising six main domains and 24 sub-skills, and a 30-item self-esteem scale. The psychometric properties of the research instruments, including validity and reliability, were verified, and the collected data were analyzed using statistical methods through the SPSS software package.
The dissertation concluded that the proposed AI-based training program was effective in developing student teachers’ interactive lesson planning skills and enhancing their self-esteem.
