University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on the Bologna Process
With the attendance of the Dean, the Assistant Deans, and the Heads of Academic Departments, the College of Education Qurna at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Administration and Economics Qurna, organized a workshop on the Bologna Process in the College’s Central Hall.
The workshop aimed to introduce the Bologna Process and its implementation mechanisms, outline the requirements for curriculum development and course specification, and prepare for the adoption of the system during the 2026–2027 academic year.
The workshop featured a lecture delivered by Dr. Zahid Qasim Badan and Dr. Wissam Bashir Hassan, who introduced the Bologna Process, explained the procedures for developing curricula and preparing course specifications, highlighted the key requirements for its implementation, and responded to participants’ questions and inquiries.
The workshop recommended completing all requirements necessary for implementing the Bologna Process and standardizing the mechanisms for curriculum development and course specification to ensure its effective implementation in the upcoming academic year.
