University of Basrah, in Cooperation with Khuzestan University, Provides Services to Pilgrims Commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him)

As part of its ongoing efforts to serve pilgrims arriving through the Shalamcheh Border Crossing to commemorate the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), University of Basrah, in cooperation with Khuzestan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources of the Islamic Republic of Iran, distributed meals, fresh fruit, and bottled drinking water through the joint International Cultural Tent Initiative.

The President of the University, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, stated that this collaboration between the two universities reflects the University’s prominent role in strengthening cultural and social ties while embodying the humanitarian values represented by the path of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). He noted that this initiative brings people together in a shared effort to serve pilgrims and promote the values of altruism, solidarity, and fraternity among nations.
