University of Basrah Academics Publish a Scientific Book on Garden Engineering and Design
Academics from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah have published a scientific book entitled Introduction to Garden Engineering and Design, authored by Dr. Zain Al-Abideen Abdul Hussein, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Amir, and Dr. Abdul Kadhim Nasser.
The 431-page book is divided into 13 chapters and addresses the field of garden engineering and design through an academic approach that combines theoretical foundations with contemporary practical applications.
The book focuses on the scientific and engineering principles of planning and landscaping gardens and green spaces. It discusses design principles, plant selection and arrangement, as well as plant and structural elements, contributing to aesthetic and functional integration and sustainability. It also serves as an important scientific reference for researchers and those interested in the field.
