University of Basrah Doctoral Dissertation Examines Inclusive Organizational Behaviour and Its Impact on Learning and Performance
A doctoral dissertation at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, examined the multilevel effects of inclusive organizational behaviour and inclusive human resource practices on organizational learning and performance, through an applied study in the healthcare sector in Basrah Governorate.
The dissertation, submitted by researcher Raghad Saleh Darwish, aimed to develop an integrative model explaining the relationships among psychological resources, organizational practices and behaviours, and their implications for performance and learning. It examined the direct and indirect effects, as well as the interactions across individual, group, and organizational levels.
The findings showed that psychological resources enhanced performance and learning through work engagement, while leadership, collaboration, and an inclusive organizational climate contributed to improving outcomes.
The dissertation recommended strengthening psychological safety and inclusive leadership, as well as developing supportive human resource practices.
