PhD Dissertation at the University of Basrah Investigates the Thermal Effect of Spin Inversion
The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah investigated a PhD dissertation entitled "The Effect of Spin Inversion Scattering on the Thermo-Typromic Properties of Quantum Dot Structures Between Two Ferromagnetic Poles."
The dissertation, submitted by researcher Waleed Hameed Abdul-Ameer, aimed to develop a theoretical approach based on the robust correlation model to study the effect of inter- and internal spin inversion interactions on the spin-dependent electronic properties of four quantum dots coupled to ferromagnetic poles.
The study included calculating the transmission spectrum and the effects of spin inversion intensity, pole distribution and polarization, and gate voltage.
The results showed that spin inversion processes affect the electronic and thermal properties of the system, supporting the achievement of outstanding performance efficiency values, particularly at low pole temperatures.
