University of Basrah Academic Publishes Research in an International Journal
Dr. Ghaida Abdul Razzaq Al-Suhail, an academic at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, has published a research paper on deep learning for multi-stage diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease based on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans in the Journal of Supercomputing.
The research explores the application of artificial intelligence techniques in the medical field by developing a novel and enhanced deep learning framework for the multi-stage diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease using MRI scans. The proposed approach aims to support early detection of the disease and improve diagnostic accuracy. The proposed model is based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs).
