University of Basrah Organizes Occupational Safety Training Courses in Accordance with OSHA Standards
The Science and Technology Parks Department, represented by the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with Al-Houshan Company for Training and Engineering Inspection, organized two training courses on occupational safety in accordance with OSHA standards and total quality management as part of the Summer Camp activities.
The two courses aimed to develop participants’ scientific skills, promote a culture of occupational safety and risk prevention in the workplace, and introduce the principles of total quality management and its importance in improving performance and enhancing work efficiency.
Researcher Mohammed Al-Ali’s lecture addressed the key modern concepts and standards in occupational safety, as well as methods of preventing risks in the workplace.
