Master's Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines the Reliability of a Stress-Stiffness Model
A master's thesis at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, examined the reliability of a stress-stiffness model using coupling functions in the case of dual stress.
The thesis, submitted by student Duha Haider Ali, aimed to estimate the model's reliability, considering the dependency relationship between its variables, based on the Clayton coupling function.
The thesis addressed the theoretical aspect through the use of Monte Carlo simulation, in addition to a practical application using data from diabetic patients.
The results showed a difference in performance between the MLE and IFM methods depending on the sample size. The IFM method performed better in small samples, while the MLE method outperformed the MLE method in large samples, thus enhancing the accuracy of the statistical estimation.
