University of Basrah Investigates Self-Efficacy and its Relationship to Perceived Control Among Graduate Students
A PhD dissertation at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah investigated "Self-Efficacy and its Relationship to Perceived Control and Positive Illusions among Graduate Students."
The dissertation, submitted by researcher Banin Siwan Khazal Al-Halfi, aimed to identify the levels of self-efficacy, perceived control, and positive illusions among graduate students, reveal the nature of the correlation between these variables, and determine differences based on certain demographic and academic variables.
The study concluded that graduate students possess high levels of self-efficacy, perceived control, and positive illusions. It also found a strong positive correlation between self-efficacy and positive illusions, while no statistically significant correlation was found between self-efficacy and perceived control.
