University of Basrah President Receives Citizens and Directs Resolution of Issues in Accordance with Legal Procedures
The President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan, received a number of citizens, students, and faculty members at the Citizens’ Affairs Division at the University Presidency.
The University President listened to the administrative and service-related requests and concerns, humanitarian cases, and student-related issues raised by the visitors. He directed that transactions be processed promptly, procedures be streamlined, and obstacles facing visitors be addressed with transparency and fairness, while ensuring that cases are followed up in coordination with the relevant authorities within and outside the university.
Al-Dahan emphasized that direct communication is the most effective means of identifying challenges and improving administrative performance, noting that such meetings reflect the university’s commitment to its responsibility towards society and to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
