University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Integrating Measurement, Evaluation, and Feedback in the Educational Field
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on integrating measurement, evaluation, and feedback in the educational field as part of the third module of the ninth Teaching Methods course.
The lecture aimed to introduce trainees to the concepts of measurement, evaluation, assessment, and feedback, and to familiarize them with their various types.
The lecture, presented by instructor Naeem Mankhi Awda, covered the following topics: the concept of measurement, measurement tools, the basic principles of evaluation, the relationship between assessment, evaluation, and learning (the Golden Triangle), types and levels of evaluation, major shifts in evaluation, models for using evaluation results, criteria for good evaluation, feedback, feedback tools, and how to integrate measurement, evaluation, and feedback.
