University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on the Role of Women
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah organized an awareness lecture entitled "The Role of Women in Early Islam."
The lecture aimed to highlight the status and role of women in society during the early Islamic era, their contributions to social, scientific, and humanitarian fields, and to present examples of the roles women played during that historical period.
The lecture, presented by Farhan Laith Ayez and Zainab Alaa Abdul-Latif, faculty members at the College of Nursing, addressed several topics related to women's participation in social and scientific life, prominent female figures and their roles in early Islam, and their contributions that had a significant impact on society at that time.
This event is part of a series of cultural and awareness activities organized by the museum, aimed at shedding light on historical and social issues and promoting awareness of the role of women in building society.
