The thesis comprised four chapters, during which the student discussed the preparation of two fluoroquinolone derivatives hydrolyzed with urea and hydroxyurea. The prepared compounds were characterized using infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, and mass spectrometry.
