University of Basrah President Receives Citizens and Directs Their Requests to Be Addressed in Accordance with Legal Procedures

University of Basrah President Prof. Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Hamad Al-Dahan, accompanied by the Assistant Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Haider Khazal Mihbas and Dr. Ayman Saleh Ni’ma, received a number of citizens, students, and faculty members at the Citizens’ Affairs Division at the University Presidency.

The University President listened to the requests and concerns raised by the visitors, including administrative and service-related issues, humanitarian cases, and student matters. He directed that transactions be processed promptly, procedures be streamlined, and obstacles facing visitors be addressed with transparency and fairness, while ensuring that cases are followed up in coordination with the relevant authorities inside and outside the University.

Al-Dahan emphasized that direct communication is the most effective way to identify issues and improve administrative performance, noting that such meetings reflect the University’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibility towards society and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
