University of Basrah Organizes Educational Lecture on Museums in Iraq
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah organized an educational lecture entitled "Types of Museums in Iraq."
The lecture aimed to introduce the diversity of museums in Iraq and their importance in preserving artifacts and documenting history and heritage, as well as highlighting their role in disseminating knowledge and promoting cultural and scientific awareness within the community.
The lecture, presented by researcher Rasha Al-Hashemi, covered several topics, including the different types of museums and their various specializations, the most prominent museum institutions in Iraq, the nature of the collections they hold, and the educational and cultural role that museums play in serving students, researchers, and visitors.
