University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Measurement and Evaluation in Applied Specializations
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a scientific lecture as part of the Ninth Teaching Methods Course, Unit Three, addressing the topic of “Measurement and Evaluation in Applied Specializations.”
The lecture aimed to enhance trainees’ understanding of the concepts of measurement and evaluation and develop their skills in designing appropriate assessment tools for applied specializations.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Inam Mahmoud Al-Rubaie, covered various types of evaluation and methods for distinguishing between measurement tools and discussed the principles of developing effective tests. It also addressed techniques for formulating objective and essay questions in a manner suited to the nature of applied subjects.
