Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Discusses Prospects for Academic, Cultural, and Sports Cooperation with the Chairman of Bayt Al-Hikma Board of Trustees
The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Basrah and Chairman of the Competitions Committee of the Iraqi Football Association, Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, discussed prospects for joint cooperation in the academic, cultural, and sports fields with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi.
The meeting took place during a visit by an academic and sports delegation led by the Dean of the College and comprising a group of academic professors from several Iraqi universities who hold leadership and membership positions on committees of the Iraqi Football Association. The delegation visited to extend congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi on assuming his new duties as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma.
The meeting included an overview of the role of Bayt Al-Hikma and its contributions to intellectual and cultural fields and knowledge dissemination, as well as discussions on ways to strengthen institutional cooperation among academic, cultural, and sports institutions.
Dr. Awfi emphasized the importance of building effective partnerships among scientific, cultural, and sports institutions to support scientific research, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and organize conferences, seminars, and forums. He also highlighted the importance of developing joint programs and projects that serve scientific, cultural, and sports activities in Iraq.
The meeting also addressed the possibility of developing future cooperation protocols in the fields of research and studies, scientific conferences, exchange of expertise, and the organization of events and development programs, thereby strengthening communication among academic, cultural, and sports institutions.
