University of Basrah Donates 308 Scientific Theses and Dissertations to the Library of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein
As part of efforts to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation and expand the exchange of scholarly output between educational institutions and intellectual centers, the College of Education for Human Sciences at University of Basrah donated a valuable collection of scientific theses and dissertations to the Library of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.
The Director of the Nazik Al-Malaika Library at the College of Education for Human Sciences, Dr. Makram Jamal, explained that the donation included 308 electronic theses and dissertations produced by the College’s faculty members and students. He added that the initiative comes within the framework of joint cooperation agreements aimed at enriching scientific and digital content and providing up-to-date academic resources accessible to researchers and undergraduate and postgraduate students.
For his part, the Deputy Head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, Dr. Mahdi Al-Saeedi, expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to University of Basrah and the Dean’s Office of the College of Education for Human Sciences for this distinguished initiative. He emphasized the importance of continuing integration and cooperation between the two libraries in order to enhance the exchange of knowledge resources and contribute to supporting scientific and research activities in Iraq.
