The thesis, submitted by student Maryam Hatem Hadi, aimed to explore the legal framework governing insurance against risks arising from the use of medical robots by analyzing the specific nature of these technologies and the challenges they pose in determining civil liability and mechanisms for insurance coverage.
The thesis comprised two chapters in which the researcher examined the current state of Iraqi legislation and the legal and practical challenges associated with its application, along with a comparative study of legislative frameworks and experiences in the European Union and the United Arab Emirates.
