University of Basrah Participates in the 77th Anniversary Celebration of China's National Day
The University of Basrah, represented by a delegation from the College of Agriculture headed by its Dean, Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Al-Shawi, participated in the official celebration of the 77th National Day of the People's Republic of China, held at the Grand Millennium Hotel at the invitation of the Chinese Consul General.
Dr. Al-Shawi extended his congratulations to the Consul General, members of the diplomatic mission, and the Chinese people, affirming the University's appreciation of the deep-rooted Iraqi-Chinese relations and its commitment to expanding academic and research cooperation, as well as exchanging expertise and modern technologies, particularly in the agricultural sector.
For his part, the Consul General welcomed the delegation, commending the strong scientific partnership and emphasizing the importance of further developing it in the future. He also expressed his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Iraq and its people.
