Basrah Research Journal for the Humanities Publishes New Issue Online

Basrah Research Journal for the Humanities, published by the College of Education for Human Sciences at University of Basrah, has released its latest digital issue, Volume 51, Issue 1 (2026), through its official website using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Editor-in-Chief Dr. Safaa Abdul-Amir Al-Asadi explained that the entire publication process for this issue was completed electronically, from receiving and peer-reviewing research papers through revision and final publication. He added that all published papers were assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to ensure their long-term accessibility, enhance their academic visibility, and facilitate citation.

Al-Asadi also noted that the achievement was made possible through continued cooperation between the editorial board and the technical committee, with direct support from the Dean of the College, Dr. Wisam Juma’a Lafta. He reaffirmed the journal’s commitment to ongoing development and to advancing its scientific publishing standards.
