University of Basrah Launches Simulation Assessments as Part of the Ninth Teaching Methods Course
As part of its efforts to develop teaching competencies and enhance the quality of university education, University of Basrah has launched simulation assessments as part of the Ninth Updated Curriculum Teaching Methods Course, with the participation of trainees from various academic disciplines.
The trainees delivered presentations before committees of experts and ministerial trainers, who evaluated their performance based on presentation techniques, body language, and subject-specific academic knowledge.
The assessments aim to equip teaching staff with the necessary competencies in accordance with the standards of academic rigor adopted by Iraqi universities.
The course brought together 145 trainees from the southern governorates, reflecting the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s commitment to improving academic performance.
