University of Basrah Participates in Judging the National Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship
Dr. Ridwan Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Razzaq, Director of the Science and Technology Parks Department at the University of Basrah, served as a member of the judging panel for the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NUR-AI 2026), with the participation of a number of Iraqi universities and educational institutions.
His participation was part of the championship’s scientific and judging committees, contributing to the evaluation of student projects and innovations in robotics, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. His role drew on his academic and specialized expertise in information systems and artificial intelligence.
The championship aims to support young talent and encourage students to develop innovative technological solutions and practical applications, while also promoting academic competition and the exchange of expertise among Iraqi universities.
This participation reflects the University of Basrah’s active academic presence at specialized national events and its role in supporting innovation and evaluating the projects and scientific capabilities of young people.
