University of Basrah Academic Publishes Research in an International Journal
Dr. Falih Mahdi Musa, a faculty member at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, has published a research paper in the international journal Magnetism, entitled “Design and Fabrication of a Sharp Microwave Filter with High-Quality Characteristics for Mid-Band 5G Communications.”
The research discussed the design of a high-quality microwave frequency filter characterized by near-zero losses within the filter’s passband. The filter also has a strong capability to suppress signals at frequencies outside the mid-band 5G range, in addition to featuring a very sharp transition band that clearly separates the filter’s passband from its stopband.
