Basrah University Participates in the Iraq Oil, Gas, and Energy Exhibition in Basrah
Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, Director of the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning at the University of Basrah, participated in the events of the Iraq Oil, Gas, and Energy Exhibition (OGEP 2026), held at the Basrah International Fairgrounds, with the presence and participation of major international and local companies specializing in the energy sector.
The participation aimed to explore key strategic projects and solutions in sustainability and cybersecurity, particularly renewable energy systems and AI-powered unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The exhibition showcased several modern projects and technologies representing a qualitative leap in technical and logistical services provided to both public and private sectors, alongside their role in supporting the sustainability of the national energy grid and advancing security and technological solutions.
