University of Basrah Holds Commemorative Ceremony to Mark the Second Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Resistance Leader
The College of Nursing at University of Basrah held a commemorative ceremony marking the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his companions, as part of the Lebanon Jewel Cultural Week activities.
In his address, Administrative Assistant to the President of University of Basrah, Dr. Ayman Saleh Neama, highlighted a number of positions and ideas associated with the occasion, referring to the values of sacrifice, patience, and steadfastness addressed during the event, as well as their religious and intellectual significance for the participants.
The ceremony featured poetry readings addressing themes of sacrifice and martyrdom, along with commemorative segments highlighting the lives of the figures honored on the occasion and their place in the memory of the participants.
The event was attended by a number of academic, religious, and social figures, as well as faculty members, staff, and students of the College.
